- 2 cardamoms
- 2 cloves
- 2 bay leaves
- 10-12 black peppercorns
- 1 inch cinnamon
- To taste salt

- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/4 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp green chilli sauce
- To taste salt and pepper
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 7-8 garlic cloves
- 2 tsp butter
- 2 tsp oil
- for Chicken marination
- 100 g boneless chicken pieces
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- To taste salt
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 tsp green chilli sauce
Instructions to make to make Junglee rice
- First of all heat enough water to boil rice. Add whole spices to boiling water. Wash rice and add a tsp of oil to boiling water.
- Add rice and salt to boiling water. Boil for 15 to 20 minutes until properly cooked. Then remove from water.
- Heat water n add a tsp of oil. Add spinach leaves n let them boil for 10 minutes.
- Then remove them in cold water. After blanching pure the spinach.
- Heat butter n add garlic cloves and cumin seeds. Let them cook together.
- Add spring onion and cook for a while. Add green chillies.
- Add green chilli sauce n cook together. Add capsicum and cabbage, spring onion greens n mix well.
- Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder n salt. Mix everything well and cook together.
- Add spinach puree n mix everything together well.
- Wash chicken pieces. Marinate the chicken pieces with salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste, green chilli sauce, coriander powder n lemon juice. Add corn flour and maida.
- Mix everything well and deep fry them. Add the deep fried chicken pieces to the vegetable n spinach puree.
- Add boiled rice and mix well. Top the pulav with spring onions greens n chopped spinach.
- Serve hot the pulav with curd or curd and coriander chutney.
